The Swiss Working Group for Endoscopy in Gynecology (AGE) is an association of the Swiss Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (SSGO) that brings together specialists in surgical gynecology with particular experience in the field of endoscopy.

Course and Certification
The GESEA Gynaecolgical Endoscopy Education and Assessment Programme is a structured training Programme set up by the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and the European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery. It trains and certifies knowledge and practical skills prior to surgical competence, and is the official diploma programme of the ESGE. This Programme is recognized by various organisations and countries worldwide including SGGG.

We teach and encourage
One of the AGE's goals is to evaluate, teach, and promote various minimally invasive surgical techniques such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and, more recently, robotic surgery.
Endoscopy is an approach that enables surgical procedures in various areas of surgical gynecology: oncology, urogynecology, endometriosis, fibroids, adnexal pathology, infertility.
